A message from the Principal
February and March were wonderfully busy times for our school! Our students in grades 1-3 have been skating, while our older students have either been skiing/snowboarding, pursuing winter activities and swimming at the Plunge, or Geocaching, skating and doing cooking and pottery with our partners at the arena. In addition, many of our students and staff have been celebrating School Spirit Days on Thursdays  (wearing school clothing or blue and yellow).
We welcome Jennifer Clement back to our kindergarten
class after March Break, and thank both Stephanie
James and Stacey McKee for teaching the students this
year. As well, welcome back to Danielle Carson, who has returned to the grade 5/6 class, and thank you to
Dave Edwards for teaching the class this year.
A huge thank you, also, to the many volunteers who help our school in so many ways. This past month,
Tammy Speers spent 14 hours sorting grocery tapes that have generously been donated… and after all of her sorting, the combined efforts helped our school earn close to $200!
Have a great month (let’s hope Spring weather sticks around!)  and call me anytime with any comments, questions or concerns.
Jill
