At our last arts assembly we celebrated the accomplishments of many different students. Basketball teams, Science Fair winners, Historica fair winners, Kiwanis Festival achievements, were just a few examples. However, it is my privilege to also celebrate a character trait each month. In April, we celebrated responsibility and I was thrilled to see how many staff and students put forward names of people that they felt exemplified this trait. Meaford Community School works hard each day to be not only good citizens of Meaford, but of the earth as well. I am truly thrilled to be the principal of such a hard working school!

National Volunteer Week
April 15 – April 21, 2012
Bluewater District School Board recognizes volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
A heartfelt “thank-you” goes out to our many volunteers throughout the district for all the work they do to support our students and staff, their generosity in giving back to our school communities, and modelling our ten character attributes.
Join us in celebrating and acknowledging the efforts of each and every Bluewater volunteer!
